As some of you may know, due to the recent budget cuts, the West Sussex County Council has decided to withdraw funding for disability self advocacy groups last summer. This means that we have no longer been able to afford our facilitator, and therefore, we have had to pause many of our group activities, while we resolve our situation.
We want to assure you that this is not the end of our group. We are determined to find alternative sources of funding, and we are hopeful that we will be able to resume our sessions in the spring or summer at the latest. We will keep you updated on any developments, and we will let you know as soon as we have any good news.
